Delete your account
You can delete your Amen Club account whenever you want. You do not need to give a reason.
In the app
- Open Amen Club and tap the seal on Today to open You. Then tap Privacy and delete account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the notice and confirm.
Your account is removed and you leave every group, with no notice to the group.
If you cannot open the app
Write to contact@amenclub.app, with the subject "Delete my account", from the email of the Google account you use in Amen Club. We reply and finish within 15 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and its data: identifier, name, email, year of birth and acceptance.
- Your group participation, your attendance at meetings and the numbers you showed in workout groups.
- The prayer requests you sent, named or anonymous.
What may stay
- Unnamed questions, which never stored who wrote them. Reports you made, without saying who reported, for as long as needed to protect groups.
What is already only with you
Journal, notes, check-in, screen fast history and workouts stay on your device only. To delete them, uninstall the app or clear its data. The Bible and SOS need no account, so there is nothing of theirs to delete on the server.
